Virtual Health and Safety Resource

It is a requirement of Regulation 7, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 that all businesses appoint a Competent Person with sufficient qualifications and experience to advise them regarding health and safety. Businesses not large enough to need or want to pay for in-house safety managers can fulfill this requirement via our 'Virtual Health and Safety Resource'.

Our service agreement will include the

• Free ongoing telephone advice and support.
• Advice on updating your health and safety management system as you business develops and expands or changes in health and safety.
• Liaison with your employers liability insurance brokers to update them on your health and safety progress/improvements.
• Regular correspondence, newsletters etc to keep you updated on the latest developments in health and safety issues which may impact your business.
• A planned number of compliance visits to your workplace to review your documentation and records and carry out a safety inspection. This will be followed up by a written compliance.
• Liaison with the Enforcing Authority (e.g. HSE) on your behalf acting as your competent health and safety advisor.
